SCANDRIVE IP 69K rollers for the food industry
Our ongoing development work has resulted in us now being able to deliver ScanDrive® steel rollers with IP69K sealing. These are compact and robust rollers that are capable of performing optimally under almost all situations and conditions.

The IP 69K seal provides the highest possible enclosure of the motor and even greater opportunity to meet the high demands for hygiene and cleaning, especially in the food industry. ScanDrive® IP69K motors can withstand high-pressure cleaning and spraying, as well as hot water cleaning, and can operate under extreme conditions without dust or liquid entering the motor.

Test method

The test standard for IP69K specifies a nozzle supplied with water at a temperature of 80°C, a pressure of 8-10 MPa (80-100 bar), and a water flow rate of 14-16 litres/minute. The nozzle is held 10-15 cm from the equipment to be tested. The nozzle is held for 30 seconds at each of the angles 0°, 30°, 60°, and 90°. During the test, the equipment must be placed on a turntable rotating at five revolutions per minute.
